Who Is London Lennie?

.....At fifteen he ran off to sea, and spent the next few years in the fishing fleet up to his hips in mackerel.
.....Lennie's stint in the merchant marine took him all over the world. He'd head for the local fish market whenever they'd make port. He became an expert at spotting the freshest fish. When he'd had it with the seafaring life, he returned to London. Within a couple of years, he owned four fish n' chips stands. Lennie came here "to the colonies" in 1959. He spotted this place - an old fish store - and opened London Lennie here as a fish n' chips shop.
.....The Rest, as they say is history.
